The news says that people living at evacuation sites in the Earthquake area are suffering from a shortage of water and food.
There has been a constant succession of big aftershocks.
I think that psychological care for the victims is also important.
Their physical and mental health is more important than anything else.

介護離職者、毎年、10万人超
In Japan, more than a hundred thousand of workers have no choice but to leave their jobs to take care of their family members every year.
We are facing with the serious problem of nursing care for our aged parents and other members.
I posted the same entry two years ago. Since then, the situation in this country has not changed.
Again. 100,000 workers, every year. Yes, every year. I think this problem is no longer at a personal level only.

Thinking through an Essay
Today I read the essay The tyranny of time written by Ken Mogi on the qualia journal, which you can read on the Net.
Inspired by the essay, I thought as follows:
Time washes away all things such as houses, buildings, and humans. No exception.
I recently think that I may be in the dreams when I was a child.
Of course, I'm a different person physically from those days, and cannot go back to that time.
From now on, I will keep on dealing with daily trivialities everyday.
And one day, I will find myself in a hospital bed as an old man. Even so, I'd like to have the dreams and hopes of my childhood.
But after a while, Time will come to wash away even such little dreams and hopes. How fleeting!
What is Time? And what is Life?
