From Snow to Rain, and Sunshine

The weather forecast predicts it's going to rain tomorrow. Good!

I'd like to believe that the snow has passed its peak in this region and in other regions suffered from heavy snow damage.

I can hardly wait for the warm spring sunshine.

Impressive Literary Scenery

”He gets out at Government Center and walks to his brownstone on Beacon Street; walking reduces the risk of many major desease predispositions. It's late afternoon, and the streets fill with the change of shifts. Vendors, Bible-waving preachers, one-man bands, and stump speakers cluster at the foot of the hill beneath the State House, as crowds pour down the subway steps at Park Street. He cuts across the lustrous Common, exhilarated by the human pageant.”

Japanese novelist Kunio Tsuji once wrote down in his Paris diary as follows:

"A few fallen leaves stick to the black wet concrete wall. The sky, however, clears brightly and the slight white clouds cross the blue sky. The morning sunlight comes diagonally on the wall of the upper floor of the apartment across the street beyond the row of plane trees on boulevards. The dead leaves hanging down from the dying plane tops are fluttering down on the pavement now and then."
