Sad News 

I am very sad to hear the news that Momoko Sakura-san, the original author of the Japanese animation ”ちびまる子ちゃん”, has passed away.

Thank you very much for your fantastic works, which always reminded me of luminous memories of childhood.

May her soul rest in peace.

Good point! I've been thinking about it recently.

In the practical stage, logical thinking is a must. But only the thinking will be enough in the stage.

On the other hand, such reason won't necessarily work in the creative world.

In my daily life, I am under the rule of reason and/or logical thinking. However, I love creative world in which intuition is superior to reason.

I can only wonder at Chandler's deep insightfulness.

”ladies and gentlemen”


ニューヨークの地下鉄もロンドンの地下鉄も今年前半までに”ladies and gentlemen”というアナウンスを完全に取り止めたんですね。

他の分野にも徐々に広がっているようで、今後、このフレーズは、昔はこんな言い方をしていたんだよね、という古語の世界に入って行くのかもしれません。


The phrase "ladies and gentlemen" was scrapped from announcements on the Tube in London and the subway in New York based on the viewpoint of gender-neutral.

It may be archaic in the near future.

☆国連の核兵器禁止条約の決議案に反対した安倍。世界唯一の戦争被曝国の首相としての矜持さえなく。

☆2016年10月28日、国連総会第一委員会において、多国間の核武装撤廃交渉を開始する決議案“Taking forward multilateral nuclear disarmament negotiations”が、賛成123、反対38、棄権16で可決された。

☆日本はこれに反対した。信じがたい。

☆今日もいつもどおり中身のない上滑りの言葉を羅列した安倍。田上長崎市長は「日本政府は戦争被曝国としての道義的責任を果たしてほしい。この条約に賛同すべき。」と訴えた。そのとおりだと思う。
