My Brief Comment on Current Topic through Dictionary
“Hong Kong is a beautiful port town, often referred to as the Pearl of the Orient.”

☆The recent demonstration of about two million people in Hong Kong has shown the international community that the power of the people can change the rigid administrative decision. That has emitted a brilliant light, yes, it's like a beautiful pearl.

雨音を光に変ふる梅雨の薔薇
砂山てつを
The roses in the rainy season
are changing the rain
into light

☆先日、本ブログにお訪ねくださっています日本の読者様からご丁重なるお問い合わせを頂きましたので、今回から管理人の自作品に俳号等を付記いたします。
☆俳句の場合は「砂山てつを」、短歌の場合は「砂山てつお」です。英文表記はどちらの場合も「Tetsu Sunayama」です。
☆これまでのエントリー表記に「（マイ俳句編）」、「（マイ短歌編）」とあるものが管理人の作品です。
☆作品での仮名遣いは、俳句は歴史的仮名遣いを基本とし、短歌は現代仮名遣いを基本としています。

梅雨寒やジャズレコードの傷拾う
岩永徹也さん（テレビ番組『プレバト‼︎』（前回放送）にて）
Cool weather during the rainy season-
Sometimes hearing scratches from the record
in a jazz cafe
Tetsuya Iwanaga (Japanese actor)
☆辛口審査員・夏井先生の「添削するところはありません!」との評を得てのワンランク昇格でした。
☆俳句の型を響かせることに成功しているいい作品だと思います。
(英訳は管理人の試訳です。)
