Impressive Tanka into English 

晩鐘の甘み苦みを飲み込んで

                胃にとけてゆくコーヒーゼリー

Hearing the sound of an evening bell,

I take a bite of the coffee jelly blended the sweetness and bitterness of the sound, 

which are dissolving together into my stomach
