Responding to an interview, Japanese singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu（米津玄師さん）said the following when he released his 4th single アンビリーバーズ（Unbelievers）last year.

"I have a pessimistic character by nature after all, and I'm not rarely angry at something in various ways. But I feel empty-hearted when I look objectively at myself like that. Repeating such things, I regard myself as a man almost defeated by nihilism."

"I used to compose only those music (consisted of anger and uneasiness). But that was not useful for me to live at all. I already got it. So I want to compose music full of hope now, and I strongly think I should say from now on to children with their future, "Even if you're in the serious situation now, there will be a lot of good things for you from here on."
