☆Our family went out to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa yesterday to appreciate the paintings by Ito Jakuchu (伊藤若冲、1716‐1800), who was a painter in the Edo period.
☆His″CHICKEN″ and ″ELEPHANT″ were well‐known, but I met a real Jakuchu for the first time.
☆His minute brush had a lively feeling. He was ahead of his times. Splendid!
