The Jakuchu's handling of a fine brush

calls

the cool of early autumn

☆Our family went out to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa yesterday to appreciate the paintings by Ito Jakuchu (伊藤若冲、1716‐1800), who was a painter in the Edo period.

☆His minute brush had a lively feeling. He was ahead of his times. Splendid
